What Makes Nuru Different
Nuru uses a smooth, odourless gel traditionally made from nori seaweed — far silkier than oil. On the mattress it removes almost all friction, so your therapist glides over you in long, slow passes that guests describe as floating. There is no rush and nothing for you to do but breathe and let go.
The Nuru Glide, Start to Finish
You shower first, then step into the Nuru room. Your therapist warms the gel in her hands, spreads it over your shoulders, back and legs, and begins — slow at first, building as the tension leaves your body. Every session is private, unhurried and one fixed price, with nothing added at the room.
Nuru or Soapy?
People often mix the two up. Nuru is gel-based and cool to the touch; soapy is warm and begins with a foam bath in the jacuzzi. Try both across two visits and decide which one you dream about.
Is Nuru Good for First-Timers?
Absolutely — Nuru is one of the easiest treatments to try first, because the gel does all the work. Tell your therapist it is your first time and she will start gentle and build the rhythm at your pace.
Authentic Japanese Nuru Gel
Real Nuru gel is colourless, odourless and water-based. Plenty of shops cut corners with cheap lotion; we use genuine gel in every session, and it rinses away easily in your private shower.
Nuru Outcall to Your Hotel
Cannot make it to Sukhumvit? For outcall, your therapist brings genuine gel, a waterproof air mattress and fresh towels, so you get the real Nuru glide without leaving your room. Book at least two hours ahead.
